I checked into Liz and I's private room which is once again like a hotel room. Then I headed out to get some Chinese lunch and meet Liz at the bus stop. I went to a Chinese restaurant all by myself for the first time, I know surprising. I did a great job and ordered a pretty decent meal. After lunch I explored a little to find a starbucks, but was unsuccessful. I also got a little lost, not surprising! In Xi'an the majority of the streets within the wall are not crossable. So there are underground tunnels you have to use to cross. They can be somewhat confusing because of the way it is set up and the fact that I don't read Chinese. But I quickly figured it out!
Once Liz got in we headed to the hostel, after getting lost of course, and "took a rest" for a little bit. We decided to have a leisurely day, so we headed to the wall to rent bikes to ride. It was really fun and great exercise! Our butts will definitely hurt tomorrow. We spent the evening at the hostel skyping, emailing, meeting new people, drinking, and eating salads! It was nice to be able to spend some down time together!
